Initial study

The initial study was undertaken with students studying an undergraduate health and social care module between October 2018 and May 2019. Some of the experiences students shared have been grouped into stories around different themes: –

  • Stories of experiences in small groups
  • What helps me stay focused
  • The numbers of students in a tutorial makes a difference
  • My tutor – putting a face to the voice

I have also put together some tips for tutors based on what I have learned from students’ stories.
