
Welcome to my website, which I originally set up to share my doctoral research exploring experiences of synchronous online tuition within my own context as a tutor of health and social care at a large UK-based university specialising in distance learning. In this context, synchronous online tuition gradually replaced face-to-face with most students receiving all of their tuition in online rooms.
My study took an experience-centred narrative approach, using participant diaries and stimulated recall telephone interviews to gain detailed insights into students’ experiences.
